Chronic illness is a long-term health condition that typically last for a year or more. It may require ongoing medical attention or management. Typically, treatment requires a multi-faceted approach that includes both Western and complimentary medicine. Acupuncture for chronic illness is safe, effective, and can be used alongside other treatments as part of an integrated care plan. Acupuncture can help you live a fuller life and experience less pain.

I initially sought acupuncture for relief from my ME symptoms, which had been a constant challenge. From the very first session, Katy exhibited a deep understanding and a compassionate approach, creating a tailored treatment plan that addressed my specific needs. Over time, the results were astonishing. Thanks to her guidance and skillful application of acupuncture, I gained control over my ME symptoms to a degree I never thought possible.

How much does acupuncture cost?
Lots of factors affect the cost of acupuncture. Firstly location makes a big difference. Also the experience and specialisation of the practitioner as well as types and duration of treatments. There are ways to save including insurance and buying treatment in packages.
How many acupuncture sessions will I need?
The frequency and number of treatments will depend on the severity and complexity of your symptoms. A shorter course of 6 sessions is common for acute conditions. For more chronic or complex conditions you will most likely need to come weekly for a bit longer.
