My story began many years ago when I first saw an acupuncturist as a child. I’d faced some challenging times growing up and needed support to work through it. I hadn’t really wanted to go, but thanks to the treatment I received I began to find my voice. Eventually I was able to verbalise what I needed to the people around me. Those few sessions in a tiny little clinic with a kind, patient and experienced acupuncturist taught me the importance of being truly heard.
It was many years later, feeling a little unsure of where my path lay but determined to make a difference in the world, that I decided to train as an acupuncturist. Since then, I have never doubted that this is what I am meant to be doing. I share my story with you here so that you can understand why I believe so passionately in the transformative power of acupuncture.
My own experiences and years in clinic have taught me the importance of being truly heard. Today that understanding informs my work with people navigating chronic illness, fertility journeys, pregnancy, women’s health concerns and the emotional impact that often accompanies them.

It also shapes the ongoing training I choose, leading me towards approaches that help me work more effectively with complex and long-standing health conditions.
Finally it means take a particular approach in the treatment room to ensure that you feel safe and well-cared for:

I trained at the renowned College Of Integrated Chinese Medicine, gaining a BSc in Acupuncture from Kingston University in 2008.
